we met up with old surf dog to ride angeles crest and glendora ridge before they close the roads for the fast approaching storms... note... the tv and the internet said the road was open from the 210 to the 138... so we are off... slabbing the 605 to the 210 to the crest...
climbing the hill...
the sign said open to the ski resorts... then we see this one... humm...
we could see mt wilson from the 210... so we are trying to beat the clouds...
the recent fire certainly changed the landscape... kinda eerie up there...
when we got to the la basin overlook we were in the clouds...
i shed a tear cause it was such a clear day and the view would have been spectacular... o well...
after leaving mt wilson we immediately run upon this... they were getting real serious real quick...
so we rolled down the hill to azusa... we rolled upm the 39 to east fork to the ridge then eventually gmr to the 210... i
looking down to azusa canyon from the top of glendora mountain road...
its spitting rain... humm...
we split down the hill and slabb it back in the rain... almost made it in the dry...
there you go...
