WTB Nice looking crashbars for K1100

I don't believe that BMW made any crash bars for the K1100RS. Perhaps they were made after-market but I haven't seen any.

Yeah, I've been searching for quite a while now and no aftermarket options are available. :idunno:

You can't attach crash bars to an 11RS because the belly pan is in the way.

Thanks Mike. Never seen them painted black. They aren't what I had in mind, but I'll think about it.

Beemerdon, I have the chrome bars on my K75RT, and in my opinion, the black look a lot less garish.  The longer I own them the more the chrome looks out of place.  I'm very close to getting them powder coated matte black.  Being the only shiny metal, they don't really fit with the rest of the bike.

If you're going to do this look into ceramic coating too. It holds up better than powder coating.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
