Can’t remember where this goes, any help?

Can’t remember where this goes, any help?
1993 K1100rs. This is a piece of rubber baffle, that I am sure came off of the right side I believe near the radiator. Of course I thought I’d remember how it fits, even labeled Top, and Aft. The first Photo is correct orientation. Does this go by the radiator somehow? Best I can make out, part number is 13.72o-2307-556. The last digit is questionable, I think it is a 6.

OK,  I'd measure the squarish rebate in the top photo and look where it might fit. Maybe near the fork head or keep looking.

It might belong behind the right side panel if you had it off before you removed it, or whichever you had off.

from this image:

I'd be looking on the top/right side of the airbox. the "finger" overlaps with part #2 at the top of the air box.

Thanks for the replies.  I have searched my Haines book, and also the factory shop manual I have, and the drawings really don’t help much. maybe the RS is a bit different? I’ll be looking it over again today, but need to get past this “show stopper” that is holding up the reassembly process. Of course, I could have done a lot better labeling that part......    177381

11.4.2018 photo found on an old camera SD card!! Doesn't do much good taking tear down photos if you can't find them again !!!  Not really sure this is it looking at the photo I posted above, but will have it in hand today to check.

I'd check if the curved part matches the curve of the air box, like I think Scott points to. Or check for a profile match.  I think the purpose of the block outs is to direct air to the radiator, away from the side panels, past the engine, then out the vents. Sometimes there are block outs behind the air vent to prevent air passing it,  especially if you have vents in the panel in front of your legs.

Maybe for wiring where they pass sharp metal edges.

One thing I do see from your picture is that part#4(from the image I posted) is not complete, where is the rest of it?
A picture of my bike wouldn't do any good as it's an LT.
Where is your air intake snorkel(the part from the hole in the air box that attaches to the frame by the radiator).
If you mount that in place, and hold the side panel lower in place you may get a better idea of where it fits.

Yes, the snorkel was still off. It was put on, studied for an answer, noticed places on the Mystery part that have shiny rub spots and tried to find where they might have been caused...........   after way to much time wasted on this small chunk of rubber, gave it up and finished putting the fairing back together. Still need a decent Windscreen.
