Parting 1987 K75s.  60k miles, had it running, has an electrical issue I have been unable to isolate.  Have video of the bike running last month.  All parts available currently.  Brief list below, let me know your specific needs.  Willing to ship anywhere in North America.  Obviously freight has to be considered on heavy parts but I live near a ups hub, and have a wood shop so I can crate pieces for proper shipping also.

New shinko 705 tires front and rear with 10 miles on them.
New stainless brake lines Installed, new fluid, same 10 miles, lol.
New right hand switch gear.
Corbin saddle fair condition, usable for rider.
Fox remote reservoir Shock in good condition.
All lights in good condition

Plastics in good shape
Radiator excellent
Hoses good and extra set of Chinese silicone hoses
Engine sounds good (when it runs)
Trans shifts smooth.
Brakes function as they should.
Discs are good
tragkorbs are fair.  Patches are good, hinges may need attention in the future, brackets are good.
Tank has no leaks, some minor rust around filler, looks like it had a tank bag that trapped moisture, pretty clean inside.

Let me know what you need.  Working on pricing, I will publish a list as soon as possible.

Hi Cherokee,

What can you tell me about the Fox shock?

So sorry to hear that your fueling issue was not resolvable.  My bike is such a pleasure to ride, I feel regretful every time one of these gets parted out (although I realize that parting out one bike can give several others an extension on their lives). What's worse in my view is when people cut and hack to make some kind of cafe racer that will then rarely be ridden but that's a topic for another day.

Where was I? The shock. Would probably be an upgrade on my 31 year old original equipment rear shock. What model? Does anyone know if it'll fit a bike with ABS (I know that some models of shock interfere with the ABS motor). Any advice, in advance of me making an offer, would be appreciated.

Best of luck with your sales.

Good afternoon,

The shock was on the bike when I got it.  I will gladly take more pics and send you as much detailed information as I have.  Regarding interfering with ABS.  The  reservoir mounts high, granted mine doesn’t have abs, from what I have seen of the abs pump location I can’t see it being in the way.  I will post pics for you this evening.

Thanks

I've had Fox Twin Clickers on a couple of my K bikes.  Currently have one on my '88 K100RS.

They are pretty nice once you get them dialed in.  They have adjustable spring preload, and compression and rebound damping.  They are rebuildable and you can experiment with oil viscosity as well.

As far as ABS, it's not a problem.  The remote reservoir mounts on the rear frame loop, the one cafe hackers cut off, behind the tragkorb mount.  It's a snug fit between the back of the tragkorb and the mudguard, but only takes a little bit of fiddling to clear everything.

Had an overnight PM (first one to reach out) purchase the windscreen, bags, shock and brake lines.  All other parts are still available.  I am trying to be diligent about letting first to reach out have first right of refusal.

Do you happen to have the instrument cluster still? Does it work and have the half circle pins in the back?
Thanks, John

Looking at discs and possibly SS brake lines - is this an ABS model?
Probably not too far away - may be interested in what's remaining.
