Spline lubing question

1995 K75
Do the Housing splines have to be lubed with staburags?

In case you are wondering, the housing splines are lubricated within the intermediate housing when the bike is running, so no need for anything during assembly.
Just be careful of the outer lip of the seal when installing the housing.
