Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Today was very disappointing for me.  I wanted to take some good cloud pictures but there weren't any clouds.... 8)

Looks like it's gonna be a nice day:

120+ miles of slab just to get to the meet-up spot - ugh:

Loggin' the cruiser miles:

Almost there:

Finally riding the Angeles Crest - yeehaw...

Bar end view of downtown LA from Mt. Wilson:

Panorama view of the LA basin:

JO flying his brick:

Double bar end shot of The Burd:

Kato gets a snowsnood:

Coyote - Micki's got a better optical zoom than I do:

Micki checking out Mormon Rocks:

Heading southeast on 138:

Silverwood Lake:

Map check:

Panorama from Hwy 18 "Rim of the World" viewpoint:

There was a hawk directly above us soaring on the updrafts:

Time to split up.  The Pashnuts headed west towards LA on 18.  Iheaded up the hill to Big Bear Lake.

Sledding season has started in Big Bear:

Gassing up at the Big Bear Chevron:

Heading down 38.  Despite the 8,443 foot pass elevation, it hadn't snowed for a while so the road was clean and dry.  I didn't hit much traffic either so it was nice ride down the hill:

Almost back to I-10 for the last 50 miles of slab on my way home:

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Ya gots ta build yer own.  I bought some ski rack attachments on Fleabay to hold the skis, built the rack out of 2x2 lumber and then rattle-canned it flat black.

Nice! I'm gonna get on it soon, starting to look like one of those banana-belt winters around here, and it would sure save gas going to the ski valley. Now if I can operate brake and shifter in my tele-boots, I've got it made...

I noticed from your other thread that your bike has a Reynolds Rack.  It'll be much easier to build something that bolts to that than if you had the factory tail rack.

Here's some more info on how I built mine: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=592.0
