WTB alternator for 1985 K100RS
« on: July 05, 2020, 01:47:57 PM »
As the title says... the slip rings in mine are too worn for a simple overhaul. Anybody have a good used one? Thanks.

 Hello,
Just replaced this alternator for a 50amp unit. It came from my 1992 K75 with 40000 miles. It worked fine. I used the monkey nuts from it to put in my new alternator and you can get them at Euromotoelectric for around $13.00. If it works for you let me know and I'll give you a good deal. It's a Bosch that came from BMW on my bike when new.
Let me know. Thanks

Sorry for my delay, guys, and thanks for the replies. Ended up trading the bike off instead, so alternator is no longer needed.
