FOUND Before I drop $ 41.00 at Max, I'll seek help in the asylum.

I have six shims to swap  2.45mm x 3 and 2.55mm x 3

Or, Perhaps you need a part I have?  Retail is $13.97 each.

RC some places will do a exchange service with a cash adjustment (Alcohol). Some of the Japanese bikes also have the same shims.
