I stumbled across this Craigslist post...

Asking quite a bit for it... is the Dakar yellow really worth that much?

That yellow looks too dark for Dakar yellow. Gryph should confirm if it's right.

Color looks okay.  I suspect the seller has kicked the color saturation and the contrast in the photos.  I do the same thing when I sell stuff.  Makes the image more intense.   It's a trick I learned from advertising photographers.

Nice bike, but the seller is beyond delusional with the price.   Way beyond...

Any one use that 'Aero Flow headlight cover'?

Does it scatter the light beam?

Not really.  I have them on two of my bikes and am looking for a third.  Couple years ago somewhere north of Winnipeg a stone from a truck hit the cover on my headlight.  It shattered the cover, but protected the lens.  Touring with a 26 year old glass headlight lens requires a certain level of protection.  The Aeroflow provides it.

I have one on my R1200RT (came with the bike) and can't complain about it, it has some rock dings in it so I'm guessing it does the job. The R1200 has a plastic lens but is very swoopy and formed so I'm sure it's pricey.
