RS Topcase - I bought one used as well as the RS style rack.  Works great for solo trips.  A bit of a PITA to switch back and forth, however.

The article goes on to state that after months of testing, the Ohio State Police found no significant decrease in patrol car vs. deer accidents after the warning devices were installed. In fact, MORE accidents were reported the officers after the whistles were installed at the same period a year before along the same sections of highway. "Tests conducted in Utah, Georgia and Wisconsin also concluded that deer whistles don't work."

Throttle lock - replaces the stock screw with a locking lever / cam device - simple and effective.

Fuel Line quick release.  Works even when the system is pressurized.  Installing these and ditching the two circlips on the tank base makes removing the tank (to access electrics) a snap.  http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=1552

TIP:  When you put it back together be very careful with the routing of the wiring for the ABS sensors so it can't rub against the tire. DAMHIK.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
