K11rs. Bogs with full throttle when warm.

1995 k1100rs  doesn't want to accelerate with more than 1/2 throttle when warm and bogs with full throttle.  I've checked and replaced spark plugs and fuel filter. I've checked airfilter, fuel pump, coils and leads. All ok. Had the fuel injectors cleaned.  Bike starts first go. Idles fine. I have noticed the ocassional miss while idling. Bike has 46000km on it.  Any thoughts? Could it be the HES?

My 1st thought would be to check the water temp sensor(and connections), located in the riser pipe(on the top of the motor) behind the radiator. Could be that it is not responding properly to the temperature changes of the engine, keeping the fuel control thinking the engine is cold.

What did the plugs look like when you removed them. Where they excessively black(indicating a rich mixture).

I'm with Scott on this one.  Engine temperature sensor was first thing I thought of before I even finished reading the post.

The spark plugs looked ok. From memory. I will take it for a ride and re check tomorrow.
