Hi everyone,
My bike has been running rich for quite as while, and recently it got harder to start the bike, I have to activate the choke for 2 kms otherwise the bike will stop at red light or in-between changing gear if I dont go fast enough. But after 2 kms or a few minutes, it goes well, I can put back the choke and I don't have any issue anymore, the idle is at 1000rpm.
I've tried many things, changing the battery, changing the spark plugs, cleaning the coals, etc. It's still the same issue, being worse when it's cold outside (for instance worse around 0°c then when it's 15°c).
So I want to test for the Temperatur sensor, I've been reading a lot on the forums and it seems quite trivial to test but I didn't found any clear tutos yet, so this is what I am asking :
Here is a picture of the motronics connector, I have to test for the #10 and #13 pin (or the ground instead of the #13?)
So counting from 1 to 13, top row, left from right?

I use a multi meter like the one here under. Since we are looking for resistance, I should put it to Ohms, but which level? 200? 2000? 20K? I am lost here.
"-" to the ground, "+" in the #10 pin?

If the values are correct at the Motronic connector, I'll have to check the value directly from the sensor over here?

As u can see, the spark plugs were very black with deposits

I am really willing to learn, I just have so many questions and don't know where to find the specific answers, if u could help me it'll be greatly appreciated, I'll work on the bike tomorrow during this lockdown. I with to all of you good time working on the bike waiting for the better times to come to go on a ride :)
Cheers,
Léo
