It seems that they've painted this one. Sad. Also I would remove the driving lights. What was the guy trying to do, make it practical?   :johnny

Also something is weird about the seat. Shouldn't it just be a one-up?

They were two up with a removable cover over the pillion seat. Two on Ebay OZ. Mustard and Ketchup and Blueberry and Custard.

That bike is mighty tempting and less than 100mi away. 6500 seems steep though. Not that I would ever depart from our beloved bricks... :nono2:but a k1300s with 7,xxx miles is only $1000 more in Milwaukee...

It is a Brick.  It's the Brick answer to the VW Kamann Ghia. :laughing4-giggles:

Apologies, I was referring to the K1300S as not a "brick" properly speaking.

I fear people de-looping and doing other sacrilegious things to these bikes and want to buy & preserve them!!

Especially a K1...only 7000 made. I wonder how many are left.

Hmm. Anyone ridden a K1? Aside from an apparent huge turning radius, and a lot of heat, and no luggage space, anything good to tell about the bike?

Hmm. Anyone ridden a K1?

I had one for about a week, friend worked at a dealer and gave me one for a loaner while my K75 was at the shop.  Got lots of attention even from soccer moms.  Whole different dimension from the 75 as far a power, but not quite a match of the jap liter bikes of the era. But it was a helluva lot more comfortable than most of them.  Hell on my knees though, and they were 30 years younger back then.  Had the ABS kick in on an oil slick, that was nice.

Hate to admit it, but I was glad to get my K75s back.
