K100RS 16v loom routing

I have an ongoing issue with the loom, more specifically the fuel injection portion of the loom.  Every now and then something shorts or a connection is not clean and the bike runs on two cylinders.  At the less extreme end it sometimes runs on all four cylinders at lower revs but starts to miss on a cylinder over 6,000 rpm.


If I get off and give the loom a good tweak around the coil area etc it normally reconnects and the bike starts behaving normally again.   


I am about to strip that whole portion of the loom and replace various wires (for the second time, I thought I had it fixed last time but it seems not).  However I have also noticed that the routing I have is odd.  I think I have it routed wrong which might well be contributing to the problem.  I would be very grateful if someone with a 16v could post of photo of the routing in and around the coil area or if there is a diagram that would be even better.

Consider posting some photos of how your loom is currently routed. A discrepancy might be obvious to somebody with experience.

BTW, have you put heat sink compound on the ignition module?

Thanks TMG but that seemed to show every part of the loom except the part I am interested in.

On my bike it seems very crammed in there with lots of sharp angles which cannot be good for the wiring long term
