mystery part, help identify
« on: October 12, 2019, 02:43:37 PM »
This small black, rubber and plastic part fell out from behind the left front turn signal, as I was removing the turn signal housing on my 94 K75 S. It may have dropped from behind the light possibly, as I cannot fathom how it could fit in the space behind the TS housing.

Any one know what this is?  (see pics)

I think it fits up along the backside of the speedometer somewhere, memory is a little fuzzy.  Helps keep the pod from shaking.

I don't have a K75S but based on drawings in the K100/K75 BMW manual on this site and the MaxBMW parts diagrams, I think it's the part in the attached diagram indicated by the red arrow and there should be another on the left side of that cowl. Go take a look.
