4 pin/fuel sending unit gasket
« on: July 20, 2019, 05:02:52 PM »
Looking for a replacement gasket to the 4 pin/fuel sending unit on the '85 (build date 8/84). Took it off to get the tank painted and noticed the Cylmer states the the gasket MUST be replaced but I can't find one on the Max fiche. Anyone gots a part number?

Also, just to double check, the return nipple had the check ball and spring, but they were both pretty much falling apart, so I removed it - no issues, correct? No sealant on these threads?

Just as a comment, I found the fuel filter was rattling, glad I bought a napa gold to replace it.

Thanks folks. Silly me for only looking at the fiche of the gas tank and not how the tank mounts.

Laitch got it. I had bought the o-ring Johnny shows from another bricker, and was WAY too big. Should work on the '91.
