It amuses me, that over there,. . .
Over here, a strip of land dedicated to motorized vehicular traffic is called a road or highway. A road's surface can be dirt, gravel, or pavement. Pavement is usually made from bricks, cobblestones, asphalt, concrete or gold.

It amuses me, that over there, what we call a road, here,is a pavement, there. Our pavement, is your sidewalk. You would get banned from riding, or kill someone, if you rode on the pavement!

In America, we park in the driveway and drive on the parkway.

Your way is the left way. We drive the right way. :giggles

American "Indians" came from Eurasia, where they also drive the right way.

Don't worry about the adjustment nut...I put a dab of paint once set, and it hasn't moved,

You suggest I paint my $400 damper to lock the bloody Pre-load

Which brand do you recommend Interlux,Sherwin Williams,Blue Water,Benjamin Moore,Pratt&Lambert...?

Your Mother didn't hug you much did she? Don't worry, you're accepted here, and there's no need to lash out.

Of course they had roads. They had commerce across the whole continent! There's a great book about it called 1491.

No, he did not suggest you use paint to lock anything.  The paint is to mark it's position so you can tell if it moved.  Very common method to check fasteners.

I like interlux... Especially the anti fouling version!

I think it's BASF who has the proper paint codes.
