Alternatives to OEM parts list
« on: March 11, 2019, 11:59:29 AM »
There used to be a listing of all known alternatives to OEM parts somewhere on the site... wonder where it went.

Yes Laitch -- I am familiar with the concept of executing an internet search and have been for decades. What I was asking, if that wasn't clear, regards the previously available link on the main motobrick.com portal.

Since I think we're all aware that you're a stickler for pretty much everything...

 :oldguy:

here, for your benefit, is a clarification of the intent of my post:

"There used to be a direct link on the motobrick.com web site to a site page that included a complete listing, also with links, of alternatives to OEM BMW parts. I personally found it handy to have this link directly accessible on the main Portal page, since many users might not be aware that such a listing even exists and might also find it useful, especially under consideration of the fact that newer visitors to motobrick.com might not be aware of the existence of said alternative parts listing and might better be made aware if its existence if it were displayed prominently on the main Portal page, such that, if they were to inquire about said listing, they might be spared Laitch's predictable, moderately annoying yet still somewhat endearing remarks about how to google."

You fooled me on that one, Motorhobo, but at least my remarks are endearing so I'll keep at them. :giggles

Lets do this.

How about pinning this Alternative Parts Master Index along with the other categories at the top of the Workshop section, jo?

Works for me.

Well, if you weren't so knowledgeable, it would be purely annoying, but you are so it's not.
