CB way of life

he he, all my bitching and complaining about the Tomtom Rider GPS "piece of shit" cradle turned another direction last night.

NIB, Garmin Nuvi 750 T, Ram cradle, Gilson hardwire cable and a 8G SD card for $30.00.  All the bells and whistles,MP3/AA audio book files, picture viewer,FM traffic,Blue Tooth and more.

Granted, the Nuvi isn't exactly waterproof like the Tomtom Rider model but a CB approach will suffice. CB referring to a cheap bastard solution, read plastic bag with a twist tie. I think one can even buy a "fancy schmancy" case on flea bay.

I was the only bidder at the auction.   ;D   Weird, 3 people in attendance at the starting time. Cold, windy weather must have kept the bargain hunters at home.

I must admit, Garmin software is superior to TT for routing period.

All you map junkies better look out now as the good DRxBMW will be on the prowl. I LIKE the fact the Garmin allows the use of topo, Goggle & Mapsource data bases to overlay.

Enough brickhead MC jibber jabber. Headed out to Elk county (Pa route 555) this morning before the PM projected rain arrives is the plan. Rain, rain and more rain lately in the Mid Atlantic. Warm rain is one thing, 45 degree rain with snot ass fallen leaf leftovers is another story _________.

peace out fellow CB'ers, you know who you are.

they dig them mucho grande... butts they still be lost without it..

i guess the cub scouts now teach how to use gps instead of how to read and follow maps...
