WTB Exhaust hanger and stand stop
« on: September 12, 2018, 10:04:57 AM »
Looking for the rubber mount for the exhaust and the rubber that the stand rests on so it doesn't hit the muffler...

Got a stock muffler from TMG awhile back and don't have all the parts as the PO took 'em all off to install the SuperTrapp.

Pretty sure any K75 or K100 of this vintage use the same parts.

#9 and 10 on this diagram:

Thanks!

I've got a damaged one and a random rubber piece you might be able to jury rig, yours for postage

Thanks Chaos, I'll keep that in mind. I'm not opposed to jury rigging, actually its kinda what I'm known for.

That rubber part, called an absorber on the parts fiche, is available brand new from BMW.  I just bought a new one from MaxBMW and I believe it cost me 28 bucks or so (with free shipping).  I considered trying to find a used one somewhere, but the way it connects is not very robust, so I was worried a used one might not last long.  Considering the other lasted 30 years, I think I won't have to buy another.
