Penrite Gear Box Oil Suitability
« on: March 26, 2018, 07:42:58 PM »

Hi All,

Seems like everyone has differing opinions on gear oil.

I have some of this fully synthetic 75W-85 Penrite, will it be suitable for the Brick?

I can't imagine the bike will every be ridden in sub-zero conditions.

Cheers

What is recommended in multi-grade for the Brick is 80W90. The bike uses less than a liter so it wouldn't seem to be a large expense but go ahead and use what you've got in the spirit of exploration. Let us know how it all turns out.
