alternate parts load shed relay, horn relay

Holden vs commodore
Virtually all relays under the bonnet (and some other commodores) have the same four pin relay orientation. the illustration on the cover is the same also. The resistor has the colour code yellow, violet, brown, silver. I think that means 470 OHM's. I have used this in place of the load shed relay without issue for 2,000km. i will post the part number later. I cant remember the American car that this engine is from, i suppose they would use the same relay its bosch, i suppose the same vintage as well, late nineties.

0 332 014 454; part no. from '86 k100rt;        the relay is blue; the resistor is green, blue, brown, gold (560 OHM's?)
0 332 019 457; part no. from vs commodore;  the relay is black, they are both 12 volts and 30 amps

OEM.

0 332 019 457; part no. from vs commodore;  the relay is black

Shouldn't be a problem to use it if the pin config is the same and it has a surge protection.
