Rear Brake substitute
« on: December 03, 2017, 07:56:21 PM »
I have a 1995 K75 with ABS brakes. I would like to substitute my rear brake ABS caliper with one from a 1994 non-ABS caliper. I would be running the 1994 non-ABS brake line and bypassing the ABS unit. What problems if any would I run into?

I’m also looking for a dust boot for the brake caliper piston. Any ideas would be appreciated. thank you

Bill I looked up the parts book on Motor Works UK and there is no difference between ABS and non ABS calipers.

I stripped the ABS off of Moby Brick and rode 20,000 miles with the original calipers.  No problem.

I removed entire ABS system with exception of calipers and master cylinders from my 94 LT.
