part source suggestions ....
« on: November 26, 2017, 05:03:01 PM »

One of the gas tank rear rubber bushings is crap and the clip is missing. I am also looking for the large and small gaskets associated with the coolant fill cap (relates to my post on gurgling during cool down )

Are odd things like this typically dealer sourced? I looked through beemerboneyard but didn't get close.

Is www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com the go to if your local dealer doesn't have something?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

 Try https://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Home/index.php and https://motobins.co.uk/bmw-parts.php?model=K Series&bikeref=K100
A mate also made the rubber tank grommets out of blue silicone sealer. :dunno

I've used both Max and Bob's for BMW parts with good results.
