Sudden increase in fuelpressure

Hi - a bit lost. My Brick is finally driving again K100 1984. Been driving about 20 km Yesterday .... everything was fine until I stopped for a hot dog.... When I started there was a "pop" and then fuel was spraying out between injector and rail... turned off immediately. Waited a while and tried again and ... pop now spraying from 2 injectors?  Engine was running fine while this was going on - no clogged injector.
 All gaskets are New and injectors have been cleaned.
 Fuel pressure regulator is also brand New !
Seems like the fuel can't return to the gastank...
 I was hoping  could point me in the right direction - all fuel Lines are also brand New.

Found out what was wrong...I am a total novice on injected engines  and been working on and off with the K...... simply forgot the small "locks" on the injectors....

You're not alone I think a mate did this. He had his injectors serviced and they leaked, I asked him if he had put the clips back on, his answer clips what clips. Later on I asked him what had caused the leak he said faulty "O" rings, I'll pretty well lay odds that he forgot to put the clips on. :hehehe

Yes - normally I do that. I took the brick apart and had frame etc. powder coated and started putting everything together over the summer - planned to have it on the Road by the end of summer....but then the project was abandoned for a period of time ..... my father went away...
 And now I been putting it together a bit too hastily as I just wanted to have a Day or two of riding before winter.....i managed that :-) ....almost...
and now it needs to be perfected over the winter! I do have some top end power loss and other small things
