Motogadget M.Wave
« on: October 26, 2017, 06:11:25 PM »
Just picked up some motogadget m.disc bar end signals and was hoping to integrate them with the m.wave relay they offer. Was just curious if anyone had hooked one of these up to a K bike and how. Heres a link to the relay

I did see that, but was a bit thrown off by the wording. Wasnt sure if I could wire it in after the stock flasher. I'm hoping theres a way to implement these, I wouldn't be opposed to replacing the flasher module if need be. I'll need to do some more research.

As Inge points out, this will not be usable with the BMW turn signal buttons and flasher module.  You will not be able to replace the BMW flasher module with this unit and you will not be able to insert it either before or after the flasher module.

You will need to replace the BMW handlebar controls (at least the three turn signal buttons) with Japanese-style motorcycle handlebar controls where the flasher relay feeds into a SPDT centre-off switch.  The wiring you are after is below, replacing the Red box labelled Turn Signal Flasher with the m.wave:
