pashnit poster twisted trader stopped by the hotel on is carbon fiber boxer cup motoboxer... ch1t man... didnt get any photos...
we slabbed the 99 to the 41 cause we got a late start... butts we be rolling trough badger tomorrow on the way to kings canyon...
we stopped at la cabana...
although his burgers are handmade we decided to sample his specialties...
squirrel in some kinda dough... yummy...
possum on some kinda bread... yummy...
rolling the sierra scenic byway... the san joaquin river...
here it comes... an amazing waterfall...
not many photos going up the hill... no traffic n the road was smooth n clean n i was hammering the burd like it was the bug n micki was holding on for her life...
overlooking mammoth pools...
mammoth mountain way far away... butts still so close...

A word of caution about this vista: The forest service flyer says that the back route is a gravel road that is passable by car. That may be true but the road is
incredibly
silty. So much so that your ABS will engage if any brakes are used so you essentially have no brakes whatsoever and only have engine braking to slow you down.
I made it about three miles in before turning around when I came to this hill. Backing down the hill I had no brakes due to the silt and the ABS engaging. I had to turn the bike off in order to kill the ABS and back down the hill without dropping the bike.
Probably doable on a dirt bike or dual sport but certainly not a good route for an ABS-equipped street bike.
