K1100 Yoke Questions
« on: September 18, 2017, 06:33:33 AM »
Hey Guys

Ive been floating around in the background for a little bit now, checking out whats going on from a far...kinda stalker-ish  :yes

Anyway, on with what I'm here for. I am wondering if anyone has the inner and outer diameter measurements of the yoke for a K1100. I am looking at a complete front end swap and need to sort out some bearings

Any info would be great

Thanks,
Elliott

Freight might be a killer but due to the damage, apparently repairable you could try a lower offer, I'd find out exactly what damage before purchasing.
It has been listed for a couple of weeks so again he might take a substantially lower price.

Morning Martin

Thanks for the reply. I don't think i explained myself that well.

I have a k1100 now, and i am just in the process of removing the forks, and swapping in some USD forks from either a CBR1000, R1 or GSXR1000. I am wanting to source the bearings to marry this combination up and wondered if someone had the exact specs of the ID and OD of a k1100 (my existing ones) so I can order the correct bearings. I could measure myself once I get the yoke off, I'm just a bit worried about my measuring skills haha

Thanks again Martin, really appreciate the input

A few people have already done that conversion, if you do a site search you should find it. Type Suzuki GXS.
