Best use for Coca-Cola that I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for responding.....If you go to youtube.com, search   'how to clean oil off your driveway' it would appear that coca cola is the #1 contender....2nd place is carb cleaner......i've been out on my K1200RS 3 times today, the old excitement that I had forgot about due to the clutch slip has returned, I luv my BMW's.....

I've used Coke to clean a sintered bronze filter, left it overnight soaking. Totally clean the next day. You can also apparently clean your Loo with it fill and let it soak.  :2thumbup:

I appreciate all the response from fellow BMW enthusiasts....If I ever get pulled over by the DEA and they ask me if I'm a coke addict I can honestly reply that I'm not but the K1200RS is!!!!!

Ever heard of Sugar Soap? a cleanser for oily surfaces. A bunch of 80% damage to what stuff? My K1200RS has no tolerance for diet coke, only the real coke goes in my bike!!!! At 80mph in 3rd gear I open the throttle and the forks rise up, not a wheelie....at 30mph in 6th gear going round a roundabout the bike pulls with no slip on wide open throttle from that 30mph until I run out of road in trying to attain high speed....The bottom line is I have cured a $2500.00 problem for under $20.00. Things Do Go Better With Coke!
