1988 K75s for sale
« on: September 01, 2017, 11:14:40 AM »
I am sadly putting my bike up for sale.  Though I love her, she is a bit too old for me, and not a practical daily rider for someone with my limited skill set.

I bought her with a salvage title five years ago and took her immediately to Rose Farm Classics where Jim got her road ready for me.  I've done simple maintenance myself with help from many of you, and had new parts put on when necessary, along with collecting some extras along the way. I had my neighbor do a cheap paint job to cover up some of her road rash, but I bought her to ride, not to stare at.  I think she's sexy, anyway, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

About a month ago, she dumped all of her coolant down the front from a radiator leak.  Jim filled her up with some stop leak and new coolant, and I rode her home twenty miles with no issues.  She started after sitting for two weeks this chilly northern Illinois morning without a problem, but she will need a new radiator, rear brake, and rear tire to be safe and road ready again.   And I'm just not up for it.

I'm offering her here, first, before I go to Craigslist or Ebay.  I'm not willing to part her out, but will if I don't get any bites.  I'm asking $1200.
