Hello from Norway
« on: July 26, 2017, 08:42:52 AM »
Hi!
I bought my first brick yesterday, a  white K1100LT. She is a retired sweedish police bike that just passed 100.000km. Full of beauty and power!

My plans for her is to take of the fairing and give her a bikini or a CafeRacer front. I am also thinking of giving her a red rose color <3
Now, my first plan is to cruise to the reparis section of this forum to figure out how to overhaul the rear brake and remove a defect ABS system. See you there :)

Regards, Morten

Welcome to the asylum from the land of OZ. 100,000 K's nearly run in.

Kongrats on your new bike Morten, I have been watching this bike when advertised at finn. I belive you have bought a " no bitch " old police with single seat and about 80 k km. on it and nice small white saddelbags. If so you got a nice comuter, the abs system is no big challenge, it is rather simple. Ride with it as is, and take care of the repares when vinter comes. Maybe round up with the holy riders and do the work there if it is combinable with your pilot education. First hand take a trip to Soon, and let me see it. Again congratulations with a good choice;-)
Geir.
