On my K75s I have a lot of slack and play on the throttle grip, when I roll the throttle open and let go it seems ok and I can hear the throttle click close but if I roll the grip forward there is a bit of play that simulates a flat spot when accelerating. Feels like there is no mechanical/ physical stop in hand grip assembly.
There's a large Phillips head screw on center of cover that I cannot tighten, it causes binding on grip. This screw was loose when I assembled the bike.
Consulting clymers manual gives no info on throttle grip assembly. All components are clean and well lubricated.
I have clip ons a la cafe style so not sure if this could be causing the slop in the cable (shorter distance).
Any input will be appreciated.
