Anyone with experience on an engine oil leak that appears to collect under the alternator and migrates down the left side of the trans case just aft and under the coil cover and eventually drips onto about the joint where silencer meets header pipes?
It only seems to leak when pushing the rpms above 6-7000 and speeds in the 85 + range sustained.
Was suggested that it could be the crankcase vent hose, but that hose is not original, doesn't look too bad and there doesn't seem to be appreciable oil residue from the area under where that hose attaches to the block.
That alternator has been removed in the not too distance past and I think resealed, but hey, you never know ... parts can fail.
