Handlebar pad switches

Has anybody found aftermarket switches that will fit into the stock cut out's on the handlebar pads it's for an 85 k100  thanks

You can use a lighted switch but you may have to shim it in place with some foam tape.
I was looking at that for my running lights. So far I have not found them with out going through a dealer.

Mount the switch into the stock cut cover. That way you do not have to use any foam tape; and it is easy to make it "stock" again.

If I understood what you said, basically buy a narrow enough switch and cut the "stock blank filler" to fit the narrow switch in it.
I did this for my running lights and fan switch's on both of my LT's.
Plenty of blank switch positions on them.

You understood just fine. Personally, I would consider a push button switch over a rocker style.
