You scored a deal.

Actually there is more...

1- The original Water Pump had a different impeller type.

2- The original Throttle Cable explained under topic 7.0  https://ibmwr.org/index.php/k100-faq/

3- the Drive Shaft output side splines are Z-16 (16 splines later changed to Z-20 splines) and thus Final Drive input shaft is 16 splines

Thanks for the info.   I will double check those as I tear the bike down.

Apply 303 Aerospace Protectant, Meguiars M40, or ArmorAll to revive all the plastic, vinyl parts

Check condition of the inside of fuel tank. Lowest portions & weld seams are prone to corrosion when moto is left sitting for some time.

Rubber fuel pump damper will disintegrate over time left sitting in petrol.

Because you have expressed an eagerness to geek-out on this Brick, the attached photo indicates two adjacent ports on the underside of the fuel tank. Their existence implies to me that your Brick is CA-compliant. One of those ports had a hose that was either attached to a port on the top of the forward end of the engine block, or was laid out to exit behind the right foot peg. Which was it?

Both hoses, neither of which were actually attached, went out the right hand side behind the foot peg.  The front top of my block doesn't have the port sticking out.

The front top of my block doesn't have the port sticking out.
Take another look; it's behind the radiator. In the diagram below the red box outlines the intake port in the block, the green lines indicate the hose path up to the tank. When it all goes back together, the block port should be capped, and the hoses that exit behind the foot peg plate should be connected to the tank. You can purchase a little frame-mounted cup to collect emissions direct from both tank ports; only one hose attaches to it, but you don't need it. It just makes tank removal slightly easier because you don't need to disconnect and connect those two emission hoses when moving the tank.

Ok.  I see what you are referring to in the drawing.  Attached are photos of that spot on my block.

Ha!  I love it.  I will try to get some better photos tonight.  Looking in that spot did show me a few more items that have to be fixed, so thats good.

After my fourth cup of coffee, the red-circled area in one of your photos now appears to be likely evidence of where that port could have been mounted. Carefully remove the debris from that cavity using a shopvac, wet towels and a toothbrush to determine if the port was ever mounted there, and if there is a hole beneath that debris that should be plugged so dirt doesn't continue to enter the crankcase.

Definitely.   I will double check it tonight.  I think that it is part of the casting, but better to make absolutely certain.
