1985 KRT 100 crazy starter switch

Has anybody taken apart there starter motor button switch on these bikes?  Mine automatically starts engine when I turn switch on without even having to press button.  I took apart switch housing and there doesn't appear to be any spring that returns button to normally open position.   There are 2 little springs for the activation of the kill switch which is incorporated in the starter switch housing.

Does the starter button have any spring action to it? If it does, this condition might instead be caused by starter relay contacts stuck together and knocking on the relay with a screwdriver handle could release them.

There is no spring action in switch and no where I can see where you can get at any spring that might exist.

I haven't experienced this problem but there's sufficient online information to guide a victim who is experiencing it.

What seems to have happened is the pin on the left side of the photo dropped from the green button's shaft on the right side of the photo and is making a permanent bridge between the contact blades. This causes both the starter to engage when the key is turned to On and also the button to jam against the pin when it's pushed. The button seems to be held in position by a flexible covering glued to the perimeter of its housing. You'll get more clarity about exactly what has gone wrong when you disassemble it to that extent.

That website says it only sells to European countries, unfortunately.  Yes I think there is a green rubber boot that attaches to the button and is responsible for the return of the button, but where could I ever buy something like that??  I tried making one and it didn't come out right.
