Thanks for the picture, it helped me narrow down the location, seems it's buried in a spot that even light itself has difficulty reaching.
I also tracked down the connector, disconnecting it extinguished the warning lamp, so it is indeed an unmarked 'choke on' indicator. I was sorely tempted to just leave it disconnected, which is one step better than placing a neat little square of insulating tape over the lamp on the cluster, however....
Adjustment of the choke cable at the throttle bodies, by slackening it off slightly, allowed the lamp to turn off and resume satisfactory operation when the choke is engaged.
