It seems certain powers-that-be at Motobrick.com are obsessed with a certain 1980s American sitcom set in a certain Boston sports pub to the extent that they refuse to allow the title of said sitcom to appear in any other context than that of said sitcom. To this end, they have implemented a hack on Motorbrick.com that globally replaces any occurrence of said sitcom name as a salutation commonly used by citizens of non-US countries (I.e. Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and other non-native English speaking countries of the EU) with a variety of terms connoting homosexuality, snobbery or chronic masturbation, despite the fact that said salutation predates said sitcom by at least several centuries.
As an investigative journalist I seek only to uncover facts without judgment. Sitcom obsession syndrome is a serious disorder that can affect the behavior of afflicted individuals in unpredictable ways. Those who choose to use said salutation are encouraged to do so by adding random punctuation and diacriticals into the character string, such as C.heers, Cheer$, Ch33rs or C9eers. Since the number of combinations to achieve this result is infinite, the afflicted individuals will focus their energy on this task and are less likely to bump into walls or otherwise harm themselves.
