Interestingly, I own three of those.
A 1994 Yamaha GTS1000, 1996 K1100LT, and a 1999 R1100RS.
All are great bikes.
The R1100RS is probably the best point and squirt machine.
The LT the most comfortable.
However, if I were going long distance with the Wife and luggage, I'd take the Yamaha every time.
