Turn signals

I just installed new turn signals only the right side works. I don't hear the clicking of the relay ? Not sure what to check or where ? Just looking for some input thanks.

front or back or both...

if the right side blinks... did you swap bulbs right to left to make sure its not the bulb...

you gotts power at the bulb socket...

Thanks but I don't hear the clicking from the relay do you think as I do from the right side.

i didnt ask if you can hear the clicking from the relay because you already said you don't hear the clicking from the relay...

There won't be any clicking sound because the flasher module is electronic, not electromechanical.

Did you install new OEM signals or did you try to install modern LED replacements?

We'll have to assume that everything was operating normally before your alteration, including the dash indicators, front indicators and rear indicators.  Since the right side works, the problem is not fuse related.

Left signal wiring is Blue/Red.  All indicators are paralleled per side so it's something to do either with your flasher module or with wiring that might have been modified.

Did you cut and splice wires to complete your installation?  I'm trying to understand what you did to get to this point.

Thank you for responding. I bought the
92k75 I took off the farings and bought new headlight and turn signals they are not LED. I just wired everything the way it was. There's the flasher switch which never worked seems froze but everything worked before I have the speedo disconected do you think that might have somthing to do with it strange only right side works any ideas. Thanks again

The problem may be in the left hand handlebar controls.  The switch may need to be disassembled and cleaned so that contacts in the switch operate properly.  One test you might want to try is to momentarily ground the Blue/Red wire on the left hand controls plug under the tank.  When you do this, if the left hand indicators flash, then it is reasonable to assume the problem is with the switch.

Removing the cluster should not affect the ability of the flasher to operate the indicators.

Not exactly sure what you mean by flasher switch but I guess you might mean that one of the handlebar switches which controls the indicators is not moving.  Is that correct?

I do not hear the clicking of the relay on the left side the side That doesn't work.  But the right side that works I hear the relay clicking. I was going to swap the relays tomorrow that should tell me. I will keep you posted thanks Tom.

after taking a closer look at this thread... and all the critical info posted in the 1st 3rd 5th 7th posts... the only clicking i hear is two definitive clicks immediately followed by bang...

Tom... Seriously, if the turn signal/hazard flasher is working on one side, chances are that the switch or wiring is faulty if not working on the other side. Do the 4 way flashers work?

The flasher switch would not move not working I'm going to replace the switch then see what happends thanks.

After removing from the bar, place the switch-gear in a shoebox or equivalent to catch all the small screws and sundry other parts that would otherwise be lost.
