Yes interesting.

Can't imagine having that much time to put into a project.

In the thread was this link to a turbo K100 in France:

If you thought the heat coming off a K was bad, think of what it'd be like with a turbocharger under the tank...

Don't you think I've got enough projects !!!   :hehehe

I did at one point go down that route [ 'ish ] as my original inspiration to work with Kays WAS the Cobas bike - and to a lesser degree - the Brune bike.

That is to say - inspiration, as I didn't want to make a replica - it would only have been cosmetic anyway.

I did get as far as mocking up the Yamaha R6 fairing [ as did BMW on the S1000RR test mule !! ] - then someone came down the workshop and made me a ridiculous offer for the project ........ that's when I started over with the Streetfighter. That said, the SF might still get clip ons - depends on my knees, elbow, back etc.. !!!!

The mock up

The restart !

As I well remember you !!! Yea, BMW definitely stole the R6 idea from me !!!!!

Hopefully in the final straight [ 'ish ] now with the Fighter. However ...... there is a mk 2 engine sitting on my bench - 1100 bottom end [ 17K miles ], late 8 valve head ... and an Eaton M45 Blower ! Let's get it on the road first eh !
