I'm no brain but will tell you what I know. I have heard C bars will crash into the fairing, limiting the amount of left-right turning capability. How badly they crash and how limiting they are is unknown to me. Hell, while fine tuning the admustment of the bars on my K75RT, I experienced my levers just starting to nick the fairing at steering lock. Imagine what C bars would do. By the way, I appreciate your dilemma. At some point in a day's ride I find myself needing to lean forward. Damn those RT bars! I have some C bars stashed away but I know it would be futile to try.
