Replacing K1100LT bars with K75C bars

Hello folks,
I am new to K bike interchangability so I thought I might check with the brain trust here first. Has anyone ever replaced K1100 LT bars with K75C bars? Will it work w/o major hassles? I have heated grips which I want to keep. Also, would there be any problems with the dash pad?
I need a more forward leaning position than the LT - bolt upright - bars provide but I don't want to go to the extreme of a really low RS style bar either.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm no brain but will tell you what I know. I have heard C bars will crash into the fairing, limiting the amount of left-right turning capability. How badly they crash and how limiting they are is unknown to me. Hell, while fine tuning the admustment of the bars on my K75RT, I experienced my levers just starting to nick the fairing at steering lock. Imagine what C bars would do. By the way, I appreciate your dilemma. At some point in a day's ride I find myself needing to lean forward. Damn those RT bars! I have some C bars stashed away but I know it would be futile to try.

hey Skid,
You're right about the C bar.
I had the opportunity to check out the K75c bar a few days ago. They are a NO-GO. The bar is too short. Not enough leverage for me. While there, the guy showed me an R100R bar. The bar was what I needed, only problem was that it was attached to the rest of the bike. It has the length and the bar doesn't force me wrists into the LT bar uncomfortable position. That bar is similar in dimension to an R90/6 US bar but with a straighter wrist shape.
 I think this is what I am looking for. Perhaps used with a bar-back thingy. So, I am going to hunt for that bar and maybe check out Flanders bars for something similar.
My biggest concern right now is finding a comfortable alternative to the BMW "comfort" seat. The worst seat I have ever sat on.

Follow Up.
I changed the stock "Comfort" seat for a Corbin a few months ago and it transformd the bike. I can ride without discomfort finally. My guess is that the stock seat may have been more comfortable when it was new but the foam had collapsed.
The handlebar still comes back too far for my liking but just changing out the seat has done a lot for the ergonomics.  :riding:
