Those that have tip over bars...

/crashbars.....on a K75.

The top bolt that replaces the frame to engine mount bolt, numbers 24 and 28 http://www.bikebandit.com/1988-bmw-k75c/o/m89#sch345053. I'm assuming the shorter bolt is on the clutch side and the longer one is on the throttle side.

I'm putting on a set without instructions and I don't have part list #64. IS this a solid spacer about an 1.25" long?

 :fall down: the diagram shows 24 the clutch side. Why do you say its for the throttle side? The shorter bolt installs fine on the clutch side. 

And, #64 looks to be a spacer, steel I presume, just wanted to confirm or just make my own spacer.

According to the diagrams at Max, both bolts have the same length and no spacer.
Exept RT which have the spacer mounted together with a longer bolt on the throttle side.

RT's have different bars than other K75's, and it also was a change in -92 on the RT's.
The part number should be stamped on the bars lower end.

Found this nugget of information.

the K75RT crash bars are NOT the same as K75 crash bars. The K75 bars bolt (via rubber-mounted studs) to the engine. The K75RT bars do NOT bolt to the engine at the top; they bolt to a bracket which, in turn, bolts to the engine. They fit through the vent in the fairing lower; no cutting is necessary.
