Let's do breakfast here http://www.northbendbarandgrill.com/

We'll figure out a meet time next week.

I haven't been there in a while so I'd have to check my GPS tracks but I think this is how I usually go - the last part is the Old Spiral Highway.  Johnny's a wuss if he doesn't like going down it.  Great views too.

you could roll that out 40 miles n come back n roll the spiral n come back... 2 1/2 hours max with photog stops...

daylight is a terrible thing to waste...

Rattlesnake would be a great place to shave off your new chicken strips.

That could be doable.....or there was some little greasy spoon on I-90 near the pass on the news the other night where everyone pulled off because the returning Memorial Day traffic was so bad...I'll see if I can find the name.
I'll bust out my DH-WA book and see if there some other options along the way.... ;)

JO's a hypocrite.  Stopping to eat bites into your riding daylight.

Gotta have something to do while I'm waiting for a tire swap... ;D
runnin' loose and bored in the parts department with a credjit card in my pocket is NOT a good thing - unless they have a really cool map of Idertucky.. ::)

Just my experience and kind of a tangent but I've never needed an appointment to get a tire swapped.  I've found that if you're willing to take off your own wheel and you're traveling that most shops will find a way to squeeze you in.  Usually I'm out within a hour after I ride up out of the blue.

I've done it in:

Bangor, Maine - Yamaha dealer
Butte, Montana - Harley and other brands shop
Salt Lake City - Generic shop
Sna Rafeal, CA - Ducati shop

I'm going to camp here on Friday night.  When I get going the next morning, I'll head west back over Lolo Pass until I run into you guys going the other way.  In case I decide to sleep in or have breakfast, give me an ETA for you reaching Lolo, MT and I'll meet you there at the big gas station at the stoplight.

Is Trudy coming?  If not and your LT is down then you could ride her bike.

;D ;D ;D With my knees around my ears.
She mentioned that also but all I had to do was sit on it to show her the lunacy. Had a 26 inch seat and we lowered the seat 2 inches further.

Maybe I'll have to run Lolo Pass three times.  That would suck. ;D

Last time I was there I got a performance award:

Johnny: How will I recognize your motoheap?

FYI: An ADV local recommended the Sourdough Lodge and Haven Hot Springs west of Stanley as possible breakfast stops for Sunday morning.
