Alternator, injection ECU and ignition ECU.

And to be on the safe side also disconnect instruments, heat management relay and flasher relay.

Pull connectors from the alternator and the computer stuff like Injection ECU, ignition ECU, instruments.  Pull the relays from the sockets.

When I worked in a car bodyshop they used a surge protector http://www.goodallmfg.com/antizap-surge-protection/ when mig welding with no problems. However if I was welding my bike I would unplug ecu & disconnect battery earth,a good clean earth point as close as possible to the weld area would also be wise.

Why not take the bracket off and weld it off the bike?

For record when I'm welding on my cars I take the cables off the battery and tie the ground to the positive to make everything electrically common. Don't know if that's 100% right but haven't had a problem yet.
