New K75C Owner in Scotland

Hello all, just picked up a low mileage 1987 K75C in Motorsport colours - looking forward to putting some miles on it (South of France here I come!).

Seeing your pick makes me want to repair the C fairing I have and get a screen for it and mount it on my K100...

Good Luck from michael in Ireland. I have had some great trips to the south of France on my K75RT. the bike is my second K75 over 13 years. They really are indestructible and fun to ride. Nothing much better in any way has come along since the old K's were dropped in 1999. A lot of expensive unreliable rubbish has been fostered on the gullible though.

Where in Ireland are you Michael ? I'm North and have a distant relative coming over from England on his K75 in August. We should cover a few miles around the island when he's here.

Them Motorsports colours suit them well, might do something like that to my police white 75rt... Congrats on a great looking bike! And on another note, hmm, scotland, home of good whisky and swooping single lane roads... I'm envious...

Gday everyone, I just bought a K75c incomplete from London. I have owned a K75s in the past in Australia and liked it very much. Very smooth. Prior to owning the K75s, I was always an R man owning 4 of them in the past.

I want to touch base with K75 owners as I don't know much about the K's in spite of owning one 10 years ago for my weekend blaster. Never had one problem with it in the 4 years I owned it so never got to know it intimately. This time I will be UK touring with my K75 once I have set it up with a faring more suited touring, then Euro touring.

Now, can anyone recommender a bike breaker. This K75 had some parts stolen from it before I bought it. Rear shocker, both mirrors and cover plate for water pump. Any ideas of who I should approach to buy these parts. . Please feel free to email. Keith from The Outback.

That's a smart looking 75C, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the 'C' styling :2thumbup:

Not my place to say, but maybe start a new thread? ;)

Anyway, I'll be saying ebay for parts... You'll probably especially struggle with mirrors if you really want OEM ones, but others can be made to fit very easily indeed.
