Bicycle Speedometer for a K75

Anybody out there try using a bicycle speedometer on there moto?
Recommendations would be appreciated.

Should work. I've seen my bicycle speedo at 52mph. :D

One of the motorcycle aftermarket speedos works the same.

Lots of motorcycle uses.  You actually calibrate them based on the tire, so they will work on about anything.  I pretty sure that they even operate the same way as ours, with a Hall effect sensor.

You might also consider a cheap GPS.

Might look at this company. These are specifically made for Motorcycle and ATV use. They can be run like a bicycle speedo but I have heard of people building a circuit that allowed them to use the factory speed sensor feed.  They are back lit, larger display then a bicycle one. Some models have Tach. They have a GPS model. THye have motorcycle spicific mounts including some that have lights for Highbeam, Neautral and temp.

A Sigma 1200, cost about $30, will do the trick. The main drawback is that it's not lit up at night. Here are some installation tips:
