my recently aquired 1992 K75 right handlebar switch cluster has a large yellow three position switch. Is this a European spec item? It doesnt appear to control the lighting, I will have to trace the wires and see what is hooked up to, if anything.

From the factory is is/was a "Euro" headlight switch that turns the parking/ headlight on like in a car.
People have been known to rewire them to control driving lights and other functions so a wire trace is in order to find out what's up.

I had a bike with a switch like that on it that did nothing and I would just flip it now and then.
Until a Lady in Connecticut called me and told me to cut it out.
