WTB: 85 K100 Seat
« on: December 07, 2012, 12:56:08 AM »
I've got a new to me 85 K100 I'm trying to replace parts on to be more comfortable. Main thing I need is a nice comfortable seat. My stock seat is in very poor shape, foam is falling apart and cover is cracked and torn. I'd prefer a Corbin or something aftermarket, but I'd take a nice condition stock seat.  Please let me know what you have that will fit my 85 K100.
I'm in San Diego, CA 92117.

Thanks!

Greetings!

I have a stock '85 seat for sale, it's described in this post:

I'll put up some pics some time late Saturday.

Thanks, I posted on your thread as a reminder. It sounds like the seat is not in much better condition than my current one. I'd like to see some pics though.
Also interested in the center stand and rear shock. Thanks!

Wow,that was fast.OK let me track down a few pics, only take a few minutes. It the vinyl version with a small rip in the seam.I do not know how old this seat is (I just bought bike middle of last year as a RT) so lets say $175.00 plus ship.I'm stating it at a low price cause I dont want you to get burned if it rips more within a year.
On another note I rode the bike on a couple 70 mile rides before tearing the bike down...this seat is very comfy.

That'll work, sounds good.  I'd just like to see some pics, mainly of the existing rip. I'm not too picky, anythings better than the absolutely destroyed stock seat I've got on my K right now.

Just wanted to thank frogy, the Corbin seat he sold me was great. He shipped right away, and the seat arrived as described. Would definitely do business with him again.
