Steering Lock on K75s and 2V K100s
« on: July 11, 2012, 11:41:39 AM »
Attached is a scan from the rider's manual on how to engage the steering lock.  Note that on many bikes it may never have been used so the grease in it may have become hardened so that it is difficult to turn.  It's also possible that the ignition switch has been changed so you might not even have the right key for it.  Be careful not to turn too hard and break the key off in the lock.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Well, I tried mine and it works. I can see why someone would never use it though.

4v K100RS: previous owner told me there was no steering lock on them... I found it quite accidentally the other day, and then promptly lost it.
